Hi, I’m Audrey!

Co-Creator (with you!) of Yoga & Movement Experiences that Honor You, Your Body and Your Spirit

I believe that the most important aspect of teaching is relationship building — both between student and teacher as well as each of our relationships to our own body and spirit.

For that reason, I prioritize getting to know my students' needs, injuries, and goals, and (on Zoom) even their pets! I strongly believe that all classes are a co-creation. While I am very direct with my instruction, I am always open to communication from you so we, together, can create our experience of yoga and movement.

When you come to my class, expect playful banter, personal instruction and some chatting before class. You can also expect that your boundaries will be honored if you prefer less personalized instruction or have any specific requests or needs. Expect fun sequences with tons of up-levels and down-levels and a huge variety of poses. I hope you will join me for a class soon!

  • After taking Audrey's class yesterday, for the first time in years I woke up this morning with no knee pain. I need to do this more!

  • Audrey makes yoga so fun. It’s partially her bubbly personality, but also her enthusiasm for her own practice is contagious. Something about the way she teaches always makes me want to challenge myself and try the up-level pose, though I also appreciate how well she meets students of all levels exactly where they are. Even though the classes are online, I always feel like I’m part of a supportive community.

My history with yoga began as a small child.

My dad used to take me to Kundalini classes when I was only 6 or 7. I remember I was the only kid in class with a bunch of adults. I thought I was so cool and grown up doing yoga with the adults. I liked listening to the gong play and sitting in lotus.

As I grew up, I got very far away from yoga and didn't think about it for many years. Then in 2009 I found yoga again. I made it my new year resolution for 2010 to practice twice a week and never looked back.

I took my first training in 2011 in New York City and have since worked with a huge variety of teachers and movement modalities. I am a Forrest Yoga Guardian-In-Training mentor teacher and E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance certified.

I draw from my Forrest Yoga background and my experience in vinyasa yoga, dance, yoga bodywork, and anatomy to bring a depth of knowledge to my teaching. I have completed extensive training in multiple styles of movement and have also assisted Ana Forrest in workshops and trainings. I have a huge reverence for all my teachers and I am inspired by everyone I get to share space with. I believe in doing and teaching what works and respecting the inner authority of students to decide what works for them.
